Enrichment
Outdoor Play Space
Our outdoor environment is a place of wonder and discovery, designed to inspire creativity and a love for nature. Children explore and engage with our mud kitchens, outdoor sensory table, art studio, and a “magical tree house”, each offering unique hands-on experiences. Whether they’re mixing in the mud kitchen, digging and building in the sandbox, or riding scooters and bikes, children are encouraged to explore, imagine, and connect with the natural world in a setting that’s both safe and inspiring.
Music
Our weekly music classes offer children a joyful, interactive experience with rhythm, melody, and movement. Through singing, dancing, and playing instruments, children explore the basics of music in a playful, engaging way that encourages self-expression and build confidence. These classes help develop listening skills, coordination, and a love for music that will stay with them as they grow.
Indoor Gross Motor
We’re fortunate to have a dedicated indoor gross motor space, providing children with plenty of room to move, jump, and play even during the cold Midwest winters and rainy spring days. This versatile area is designed to support active play, where children can develop coordination, balance, and motor skills through fun, physical activities. No matter the weather, our indoor space ensures children have opportunities to stay active and energized year-round.
Connection to Community
Community connection is at the heart of our preschool. Through regular outreach efforts, like clothing and food drives, we model for children the importance of compassion and helping those in need. Our community field trips further enrich learning by taking children beyond the classroom—whether we’re visiting the Elmhurst library to foster a love for books or exploring the nearby prairie path to discover nature up close. These experiences help children build a strong sense of belonging and awareness, instilling values of kindness, curiosity, and community involvement. Bethel Learning Center is also proud to partner with District 205 and together provide transportation for students who attend both Madison Early Learning Center and BLC.
