 BLC follows District 205 in deciding when weather presents a danger to our students, staff, or families.  Please check your email by 7 am. for school closing information.  If you have no access to email, please feel free to contact your classroom teacher or classdojo.  You may also check the radio and television stations listed below.

 

Late Start:  If District 205 institutes a late start procedure because of inclement or dangerous weather conditions, BLC will be closed for the entire day.  You will be notified via email or classdojo by 7 am. 

 

Full-Day School Closures:  Should District 205 close all schools due to weather, BLC will also close for the full day.  You will be notified via email or classdjo by 7 am 

 

Mid-Day School Closures:  Should it become necessary to close school in mid-morning or mid-afternoon when the students are in session, you will be notified via email and will also receive a phone call from school. 

BLC will remain open until every child has been picked up.

 

Media Notifications:  District 205 notifies the following news media when instituting a late start or a full-day closure.  You may find district information there much earlier than 7 am.
